I am humbled every day by how God simplifies every day objects, events so that I can understand Him more.
This blog is for the wonderful ladies (aka Mighty Prayer Warriors) in our Life Group. We call ourselves the Beacons of Light because that’s what we strive to be. Whether we are in our homes, offices, classrooms, grocery stores, or struggling with our Spanx in the restroom at Longhorn’s, we make an effort to be a reflection of God’s light in this sometimes quite dark world.
We believe in praying for one another regardless of the time of day. We recognize that it is God Who hears our prayers and grants us peace with however He chooses to answer those prayers. Colossians 1:9
We believe in encouraging one another and supporting one another. 1 Thessalonians 5: 11
We believe that the Word of God is critical to our lives and our spiritual growth. We believe that every word is purposed by God and that we will never fully understand it all this side of Heaven. 2 Timothy 3:16
We are flawed and we make mistakes every day. My hope for us all is that at the end of the day, we’ve scored way more points for God than we did for the enemy. And that each day, in our spiritual journey, that balance of points gets wider and wider as we live our lives for the glory of God.
